High-tack VHB tape, such as 3M5952VHB and other VHB tapes, is made by coating a solvent-based acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive on a foamed VHB acrylic foam substrate to achieve high adhesion, high holding power, and excellent bonding to low-surface-energy materials. Our high-performance solvent-based acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive offers high initial tack, high peel strength, and high holding power, making it suitable for coating on VHB substrates as a replacement for VHB tapes like 3M5952VHB and 3M9495LE.

It provides high adhesion and holding power, with a peel strength on VHB substrates of >80N/inch, capable of tearing the foam, and a holding power at 70°C of >10,000 minutes.
