These subsidiaries span various segments of the oil and gas industry chain, from upstream oil and gas exploration and extraction, to midstream crude oil and natural gas transportation and storage, and further to downstream petrochemical production and oil product sales. For example, CNPC’s Daqing Oilfield Limited Company, as a major crude oil production base, faces numerous health, safety, and environmental (HSE) challenges in operations such as exploration, drilling, and oil extraction, making it one of the key focuses of this certification.
