BIS-TRIS-HCL, also known as bis (2-hydroxyethylamino) tri (hydroxymethyl) methane hydrochloride, is a common biological buffer. BIS-TRIS-HCL is widely used in the preparation of biological buffers and is suitable for DNA and RNA analysis. As an acid-base buffer, it can maintain the stability of the solution and adjust the pH value of the solution to meet the stability and activity requirements of DNA and RNA.
