Heparin sodium is a white or almost white powder that has anticoagulant effects both in vivo and in vitro. Heparin sodium is commonly used for blood sample collection and anticoagulation in clinical biochemical and emergency biochemical examinations, as well as for blood sample collection and anticoagulation in some hemorheological projects. Heparin sodium not only has anticoagulant effects in the blood, but also can be used for injection of drugs. Heparin sodium is a mucopolysaccharide substance. If it is prepared into a solution and not used for a long time, it is prone to bacterial growth. Therefore, it can be prepared into a solution with deionized water or distilled water, ready to use, or sealed and stored in a sterile state for no more than a week. Hubei Xindesheng Material Technology Co., Ltd. recommends a conventional dosage of 5-20IU heparin sodium anticoagulation combined with 1mL of blood for disposable venous vacuum blood collection, and 8-10IU heparin sodium anticoagulation combined with 1mL of blood for peripheral blood anticoagulation. Heparin in the market is generally extracted from pig small intestine because the supply source of pig small intestine is wide and it is easier to ensure the freshness of the goods. The potency of heparin sodium produced by Desheng is 150IU/mg, and the anhydrous potency is 160IU/mg. The white powder obtained through refined purification can maximize the accuracy of experimental results.
