Haiso Technology Co., Ltd (Former Hubei Research Institute of Chemistry) is located in Wuhan City of Hubei Province. Through more than thirty years’hard work, the center has developed a whole set of catalysts which have been applied widely in coal or natural gas based ammonia / methanol plants, including steam reforming catalyst, high / low temperature shift catalyst, methanation catalyst, ammonia synthesis catalyst, methanol synthesis catalyst, etc., and a set of gas purification catalyst, including series noble and base metal oxygen removal, hydrogen removal, hydrocarbon removal catalysts, series fine removal desulfurizers, Cl removal agents, phosphor removal agent, arsenic removal agent, oil removal agent, etc., while series sulfur removal, organic nitrogen removal, sweetening catalysts also have been developed and applied widely in large, medium small scale petrochemical plants. 32 Chinese patents have been gotten. In October 1999 and 2000, conferred by the State Science and Technology Ministry, our center representing Chinese Government has successfully hold the first and second international training workshop of ambient temperature fine sulfur-removal (ATFSR) New Technology, five papers have been presented in International Nitrogen Conference, night types of products have been exported to USA, UK, Australia, etc.
