Inner Mongolia Jingdong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., established at the end of 2014 with a registered capital of 61.08 million RMB, is a high-tech manufacturing enterprise specializing in pharmaceutical intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). The total project investment amounts to 260 million RMB. Upon full completion, the facility will have an annual production capacity of 500 tons of pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs, achieving sales revenue exceeding 1.2 billion RMB.
In 2023, Huaguan Biotech acquired Jingdong Pharmaceutical to serve as its production base. Inner Mongolia Jingdong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is dedicated to the research, development, and production of innovative drugs, first-to-market generic drugs, specialty APIs, and high-tech-barrier pharmaceutical intermediates, as well as providing CDMO services. Its product portfolio covers multiple therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular and cerebrovascular drugs, anti-allergy medications, anti-rheumatic drugs, anticoagulants, antiepileptics, and targeted therapies such as JAK inhibitors. Through independent R&D and innovation, the company has developed over 20 advanced production technologies and processes for high-end specialty APIs. It has applied for 11 national invention patents and 3 utility model patents, of which 8 have been granted, 4 are under substantive examination, and 2 have been accepted.
Huaguan Biotech, founded in 2018 and headquartered in Beijing, focuses on the development and commercialization of high-end generic drugs globally, innovative drugs, RSM, API CDMO services, and the application of continuous flow and enzymatic biosynthesis in the green and safe production of APIs. With production as its core and R&D as its foundation, Huaguan Biotech utilizes Inner Mongolia Jingdong Pharmaceutical as its production base. It has also established four R&D centers in Beijing, Nanjing, Suzhou, and Chongqing, and is currently constructing a 120-mu green API GMP production base in Fuyang, Anhui, aiming to create China's first demonstration base for API production characterized by green and safe practices.
