Use of Valnemulin Hydrochloride:
Valnemulin is a new generation of pleuromutilin semi-synthetic antibiotics, which are diterpenes, the same class of drugs as tiamulin, and are animal-specific antibiotics. It is mainly used to control mycoplasmosis and Gram-positive infections in pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry. It is the first veterinary drug premix approved throughout Europe and is classified as a veterinary prescription drug. In January 2004, the European Community approved the prevention of porcine colonic colitis caused by infection with Brachyspira pilosicoli (colitis) - a mild form of sputum and treatment of growing pigs by intracellular labor Porcine proliferative enteropathy (ileitis) caused by infection with the bacterium. B. hyodysenteriae, colonic pilosicoid, and intracellular Lawsonia are the chief culprits of most growing swine enteritis.
