II. Scope of Application

The GPY modern tubular oil skimmer is suitable for water treatment and oil recovery systems in industries such as metallurgy, machinery, chemical, light industry, petroleum, and railway transportation. It can be used for oil removal (skimming) in various horizontal flow sedimentation tanks, drainage ditches, iron scrap pits, or oil collection tanks. This oil skimmer achieves satisfactory results when removing various finished lubricating oils, diesel, animal and vegetable oils, mineral oils, crude oil, fuel oil, coolants, detergents, and various oily scums from water.
