Fiber Bundle Filter

I. Overview
　　The JHGXY-II high-efficiency fiber bundle filter is the second-generation fiber bundle filtration device developed by our unit, representing significant technical improvements and innovations based on extensive operational experience with the first-generation filter.
　　The equipment consists of a fixed perforated plate, movable perforated plate, fiber bundles, air distribution device, etc. The movable perforated plate can move up and down, allowing the pore size of the filter material to gradually decrease along the water flow direction during filtration, increasing fiber density. The filtration process includes both longitudinal deep filtration and transverse deep filtration, effectively improving filtration accuracy and speed. During cleaning, the fibers are loosened, and a combined air-water washing method is used. During the process of bubble dispersion and hydraulic flushing, the fibers are constantly agitated, and the filter material is regenerated under the action of downward hydraulic force and rising bubbles.
II. Main Features
　　1) Simple structure, easy operation.
　　The JHGXY-II high-efficiency fiber filter is divided into JHGXY-A type and JHGXY-B type. Their main structures and operating mechanisms are basically the same, only opposite in orientation. Type A is upward filtration, and Type B is downward filtration, suitable for different needs. Generally, Type A is suitable for pressure systems, and Type B is suitable for gravity systems. The equipment has no vulnerable parts and can operate for over 10 years without replacing major components. The operation method is similar to that of granular filter media filters.
　　2) High filtration accuracy: After coagulation treatment of raw water, the removal rate of suspended solids can reach over 90%, with effluent turbidity controllable to near zero. It also has a significant removal effect on impurities such as bacteria, viruses, and macromolecular organic matter.
　　3) High filtration speed: 3 to 5 times that of traditional filters, with a maximum speed of up to 50 m/h.
　　4) Large dirt holding capacity: 2 to 4 times that of traditional filters.
　　5) Small footprint: For the same water production capacity, the footprint of the JHGXY-II high-efficiency fiber filter is only 1/3 to 1/5 that of traditional filters, greatly saving capital investment.
　　6) Low cost per ton of water: 1/2 to 2/3 that of traditional filters. Low self-water consumption: only 1% to 3% of the water production. In general, backwashing can be performed using raw water.
　　8) No need to replace filter elements: After dirt accumulation, the filter can be easily cleaned with air and water to restore filtration performance.
III. Applications
