Thermocouple Measurement and Simulation Module TIO0110

The TIO0110 is a thermocouple (T/C) measurement and simulation module designed to work in conjunction with the Meriam MFT 4000 Series Multi-Function Tester. The module accurately measures or sources ±110 millivolts (mV) for any of 12 different T/C types according to NIST 175, ITS-90 (default), or ITS-68 standards. In this measurement mode, the TIO0110 module converts millivolts DC into temperature values in the user-selected temperature units (Fahrenheit, Celsius, Rankine, or Kelvin) under each selected standard. For direct reading or troubleshooting, millivolts are also displayed.

In this simulation mode, the TIO0110 module simulates an accurate current signal to the receiving device. The user can input precise simulated temperature values

and change this temperature value with the MFT ramp control, setting and selecting three automatic step test procedures for each T/C type. Test points are determined by the user and can be tracked automatically or manually step by step.

T/C calibration coefficients are factory-loaded into the module memory, allowing instant access by the base MFT. Field recalibration of the module is provided by the MFT's "RCAL" function.
