Internal Mixer Mixing Chamber Working Principle

The mixing chamber forms a closed groove with the left and right side plates. The front and rear rotor bearings use spherical roller bearings and are fixed to the left and right side plates through bearing sleeves. The left and right side plates are both jacket structures with cooling (heating) cavities. The inner wall surfaces in contact with the material are hard chrome plated. The inner wall of the internal mixer is hardened (hard chrome plated) with a chrome layer thickness of 10 threads and a hardness of HV900~1000. After welding, the mixing chamber undergoes annealing treatment to relieve stress, integrating the welded parts into one piece. The mixing chamber adopts a jacket-type welded structure with internal cooling channels to easily control the temperature during the rubber mixing process. The heating method uses electric heating, with 12 heating plates (700W each) embedded externally on the mixing chamber. The working surface inside the mixing chamber is hard chrome plated with a thickness of 10 threads. A thermocouple at the bottom of the mixing chamber measures temperature and participates in the mixing control.
