Working Principle of Axial Heat Pipes:A heat pipe generally consists of a tube shell, capillary porous material, and working medium. The purified working medium is filled into the tube shell, which contains a capillary wick material and is evacuated to a high vacuum, then sealed.

One end of the heat pipe is the evaporation section, and the other end is the condensation section. When one end is heated, the working medium liquid in the capillary wick absorbs heat and vaporizes into steam. The steam flows to the other end, where it is cooled, releasing the latent heat of vaporization and condensing back into liquid. The liquid then returns to the evaporation section through the porous material under capillary force and is heated and vaporized again. This cycle repeats continuously, transferring heat from one end of the heat pipe to the other.
