2. Construction Steps for GYZ450×84 Laminated Rubber Bearing

(1) Pre-Construction Preparation

• Check Bearing Quality:

• No cracks or bubbles in the rubber, no rust or delamination in the steel plates.

  • Verify specifications (diameter 450mm, thickness 84mm) and load capacity to ensure they meet design requirements.

• Check Support Pad Stones:

• Pad stone concrete strength ≥ C40, surface flatness (level deviation ≤ 2mm).

• Clean the pad stone surface to ensure no oil stains or floating slurry.

  • Measurement and Positioning:

• Use a total station or steel tape for layout to ensure the centerline of the bearing aligns with the beam axis.

  (2) Bearing Installation

1. Temporarily Fix the Bearing:

• Apply epoxy resin or specialized adhesive on the pad stone (if bonding is required by design).

  • Gently place the bearing to avoid impact and ensure close contact with the pad stone.

  2. Beam Installation:

• Slowly lower the beam during hoisting to avoid eccentric compression.
