"Vapam" is a highly effective, low-toxicity soil fumigant produced using advanced Israeli technology and processes. Its active ingredients are 370 g/L and 510 g/L "Vapam" aqueous solutions. Compared to "methyl bromide," "Vapam" offers advantages such as lower cost, simpler application methods, low toxicity, and high safety, making it one of the widely used high-efficiency soil fumigants globally. Its mechanism of action is as follows: when the "Vapam" solution is mixed with water, it rapidly generates a chemically toxic gas—methyl isothiocyanate—which, under appropriate soil conditions, thoroughly eliminates harmful pathogens causing soil-borne diseases such as plant wilt and blight, including bacteria, fungi, underground pests, weeds, and nematodes.
