Measurement Principle

The suspended solids/sludge concentration sensor is based on infrared scattering light technology, meaning that infrared light emitted by the light source scatters when passing through the measured sample during transmission. The intensity of the scattered light is proportional to the suspended solids concentration. The suspended solids/sludge concentration sensor is equipped with a scattered light receiver at a 140° angle, and the suspended solids concentration value is determined by analyzing the intensity of this scattered light.
