I. Overview of the Fully Automatic Capacitance and Inductance Tester
Power systems use compensation capacitor banks to improve power factor. Reactive compensation capacitors operate with high working capacity and frequent switching. To ensure equipment reliability, regular testing is required. The traditional method involves disassembling the capacitor busbar and measuring with a capacitance meter. This method is not only labor-intensive but also prone to damaging the capacitors.
The KERGY-A Fully Automatic Capacitance and Inductance Tester is a specialized instrument for testing compensation capacitors without disconnecting wires. The tester outputs up to 20A of test current and can measure capacitance up to 2200μF. It features strong anti-interference capabilities, making it suitable for use in environments with strong electrical interference.
The KERGY-A Fully Automatic Capacitance and Inductance Tester is also a multifunctional impedance measuring instrument, capable of automatically identifying and testing capacitive, inductive, or resistive samples. It can also be used separately for current-A testing.
This instrument uses a high-precision 50mm clamp-type CT to detect current, combined with a digitally isolated voltage detection circuit, ensuring stable performance and high measurement accuracy.
The instrument features a backlit large-screen LCD display, providing clear visibility both day and night. It uses a Chinese menu, making operation very simple. The instrument can store up to 128 sets of measurement data and comes with a built-in embedded thermal printer for printing measurement data.
