KE836 Insulation Resistance Tester (10KV)

I. Product Introduction
       The KE836 Insulation Resistance Tester is specifically designed for insulation testing in laboratories or on-site. It incorporates a high-precision micro-current measurement system and a digital voltage boosting system. Measurement can be performed by simply connecting the test object with one high-voltage line and one signal line. The test is automated, with results displayed on a large LCD screen. It can measure polarization index and absorption ratio, and test results can be stored.
II. Main Features
      1. Controlled by a 32-bit microcontroller with a full Chinese operation interface for ease of use.
      2. Automatically calculates absorption ratio and polarization index, and stores data at 15 seconds, 1 minute, 2 minutes, and 10 minutes for analysis.
      3. High output current, with a short-circuit current greater than 5mA.
      4. Strong anti-interference capability, suitable for on-site operations in ultra-high voltage substations.
      5. Automatically discharges after testing and monitors the discharge process in real time.
      6. Equipped with a rechargeable battery and charger. When the backlight is not used, it can operate continuously for 6 to 12 hours on a full charge.

IV. Operating Component Functions
      1. L Terminal
     "L" is the high-voltage output terminal, referred to as the line terminal. It is connected via a high-voltage cable to the terminal of the object under test, such as a motor winding or cable core.
      2. G Terminal
     "G" is referred to as the guard terminal, used for measuring the volume resistance of insulating materials or cables using the three-electrode method. It is connected to the guard ring terminal of the three electrodes.
      3. E Terminal
     "E" is referred to as the ground terminal, connected to the ground or zero terminal of the object under test, such as the motor casing metal, transformer core, or cable shielding layer.
V. Precautions and Other Information
      Please note: L is the high-voltage terminal! E is the ground terminal and must be connected to the earth! 1T = 1000G, 1G = 1000M
