I. Product Overview:
      Coal mines are major users of cables. Due to the extremely harsh working conditions underground, the annual damage rate of various cables is relatively high. To save costs and reduce production expenses, mines generally have their own cable maintenance teams. However, due to limitations in testing equipment and techniques, flaw detection during the repair of comprehensive mining cables often falls short, with many resorting to the forced breakdown method, which significantly damages cable insulation.
       The KEKDL type mining cable comprehensive flaw detection tester is based on the partial discharge method, which does not damage the original structure of the cable. It can easily and accurately detect cable damage locations and also includes testing functions after repair, making it a highly reliable testing device for current coal mine cable maintenance operations.
II. Product Use:
      The KEKDL type mining cable comprehensive flaw detection tester is used for flaw detection of various mining cables up to 10KV and below on the surface of coal mines. It also performs DC withstand voltage tests and leakage current tests after cable repair. It is a versatile and practical common testing device that meets the requirements of the "Coal Mine Electrical Test Regulations."

IV. Equipment Operating Environmental Conditions:
      1. Ambient medium temperature: -15℃～＋45℃;

      4. No explosive hazardous media in the surroundings, and no gases or dust that can corrode metals or damage electrical insulation;

V. Structural Features:
      1. This device consists of a control part (low voltage) and a high-voltage rectification, discharge, and testing section. Sufficient safety space is reserved between high and low voltage parts, and between high/low voltage and the casing;
      2. To ensure the safety of the equipment and personnel, high-voltage startup must be operated by designated personnel;
      3. During each flaw detection or withstand voltage test, the high voltage starts from zero and rises slowly. The voltage increase or decrease is controlled by buttons (manual type controlled by manual rotation of the voltage regulator), ensuring smooth voltage change rates and safe, simple operation;
      4. The DC withstand voltage test time can be automatically set by a digital timer (or manually controlled), ensuring accurate and reliable test timing;
      5. Leakage current can be measured at any time during the withstand voltage test as needed;
      6. The device has overcurrent and short-circuit protection, with startup pre-warning and overcurrent protection;
      7. The control panel includes a power switch, high-voltage start, high-voltage stop, voltage increase, and voltage decrease switches or buttons (voltage increase/decrease only available in electric voltage regulation type), as well as a digital timer relay for withstand voltage testing;
      8. The display panel has measuring meters for high voltage, leakage current, and low voltage total current, along with indicators for power, high voltage, timing, etc., a discharge sphere gap, and an observation window;
      9. Equipped with a dedicated high-voltage discharge rod for safe discharge after each flaw detection or test. The bottom of the box has a grounding mark.
