Forged steel flange gate valves have three types of bonnet forms. The first is the bolted bonnet, where the valve body and bonnet are connected by bolts and nuts, with spiral-wound gaskets (304, 316 with flexible graphite). When customers have special requirements, metal ring connections can also be used. The second is the welded bonnet, where the valve body and bonnet are fully welded for sealing. When customers have special requirements, full penetration welding connections can also be used. The third is the pressure self-tightening bonnet, where the valve body and bonnet are connected by threads, and the internal pressure self-sealing ring seals the flange end. This type is suitable for gate valves, globe valves, lift check valves, swing check valves, etc.
