Product Introduction:

Silicone high-temperature resistant paint is used for rust prevention and decoration of metal under high-temperature conditions. Silicone high-temperature resistant coating is composed of specialized silicone resin, special high-temperature resistant pigments, special additives, solvents, and other agents.

Main Features:

◆ Corrosion resistance: Silicone high-temperature resistant paint resists chemical atmosphere, acid and alkali, damp heat, and protects the substrate from corrosion.

◆ Temperature resistance: Long-term resistance to high temperatures of 100-600°C, without cracking or powdering of the paint film.

◆ Thermal cycling resistance: Withstands over 10 cycles of cold and heat; the coating does not peel under drastic temperature changes.

◆ Decorative properties: The paint film comes in various colors with good decorative effects and does not discolor under high temperatures.

◆ Mechanical properties: High hardness, good toughness, wear resistance, and scratch resistance.

◆ Application performance: Fast drying and good construction properties.

Applications:

◆ Suitable as a specialized anti-corrosion primer for steel structures, storage tanks, bridges, docks, chemical plants, fertilizer plants, power plants, oil refineries, paper mills, and sewage treatment plants. Also used as a specialized coating for chimneys, flues, drying ovens, exhaust pipes, hot blast stoves, high-temperature gas pipes, and other equipment requiring high-temperature corrosion resistance.

Surface Preparation

All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contamination. Evaluation and treatment should follow ISO 8504.

Bare steel cleanliness: Blast cleaning to Sa2.5 grade (ISO 8501-1:1998).

Depending on the situation, power tool cleaning may also be used, with a minimum of St2 grade and no scale (ISO 8501-1:1988).

Steel with shop primer: Clean, dry, and intact approved shop primer.

Painted surfaces: Clean, dry, and intact compatible primer.

Recommended Coating Layers: ◆ Airless spray: 1 coat; brush or roller: 1-2 coats.

Compatible Primer:  ◆ Inorganic zinc-rich paint, inorganic zinc silicate paint, silicone high-temperature resistant primer.

Surface Treatment:   Steel surface blast cleaned to Sa2.5 grade, surface roughness 30μm-75μm.

◆ Power tool cleaning to St3 grade.

Application Methods

Substrate temperature must be above 3°C, and relative humidity must be below 85%. When the substrate temperature is between 30°C and 60°C, spraying must be used.

Coating application:

Airless spray: Nozzle size 0.4mm-0.5mm, output pressure 20MPa-25MPa (200kg/cm2-250kg/cm2), dilution ratio 0-5%.

Conventional spray: Nozzle size 1.5mm-2.0mm, output pressure 0.3MPa-0.4MPa (3kg/cm2-4kg/cm2), dilution ratio 10%-15%.

Roller application: Dilution ratio 5%-10%.

Thinner: Special silicone thinner

Specification: 20kg/drum
