◆ Epoxy iron red primer is a two-component primer composed of epoxy resin, iron oxide red, anti-rust pigments and fillers, additives, solvents, etc., paired with a curing agent.
Product Usage:
◆ Epoxy iron red primer is widely used for coating and priming steel bridges, ship hulls, industrial and mining vehicles, railway cars, pipelines, storage tanks, mechanical equipment, etc. It is especially recommended for steel surfaces that do not meet the coating requirements for zinc-rich primers but can remove loose rust, achieving a surface preparation standard of Sa2 for blast cleaning or St2 for power tool cleaning.

Application Conditions and Methods:
◆ Substrate temperature must be above 3°C, and relative humidity must be below 85%.
◆ When the temperature of the substrate to be coated is below 5°C, the curing reaction between the epoxy resin and the curing agent stops or slows down, so application is not recommended.
◆ Steel surfaces should be blast cleaned to Sa2.5 grade, with a surface roughness of 30μm-75μm.
◆ Power tool cleaning to achieve St3 grade.
◆ Apply one coat by airless spraying, or one to two coats by brushing or rolling.
Coating Application:
◆ This product is a two-component coating. After opening the container of component A, stir it evenly. Add the curing agent in proportion, mix thoroughly, and let it stand. After 30 minutes, add an appropriate amount of thinner to adjust to the application viscosity.
