Product Characteristics: Cold spray zinc sealing paint is one of the most widely used products in industrial corrosion protection. It is suitable for rust prevention of steel in atmospheric environments and is widely applied in general corrosion protection, chemical atmospheres, marine environments, and weather-resistant coatings. Cold spray zinc sealing paint excels in rust prevention, adhesion, mechanical properties, and compatibility.

Design Purpose: Cold spray zinc sealing paint is suitable for use as a corrosion and rust prevention primer for steel components in atmospheric environments, enhancing sealing and anti-corrosion performance. It is particularly effective in harsh corrosive environments or for medium to long-term weather resistance requirements. Specific applications include bridge corrosion protection, steel structure corrosion protection, mechanical equipment coating, architectural coating, vehicle protection, and engineering corrosion protection.

Surface Treatment: The surface should be sandblasted or shot-blasted to achieve Sa2.5 grade as per GB8923 "Rust Grades and Preparation Grades of Steel Surfaces Before Coating." For areas where pretreatment does not meet the requirements, use an electric grinder to achieve St3 grade.

Application Methods:

Brush Application

When brush-applying cold spray zinc sealer, dip the brush into an appropriate amount of coating, distribute it evenly over the surface area, first spreading horizontally and then smoothing vertically to ensure uniform distribution. Alternatively, spread vertically first and then smooth horizontally, proceeding step by step without missing any areas.

Compressed Air Spraying:

Compressed air spraying uses compressed air to draw (or force) the coating from a container to the spray gun. At 0.2–0.5 MPa, the coating mixes with air and atomizes at the nozzle, spraying onto the surface to form an evenly distributed coating.

Coatings for compressed air spraying should be thinner than those for brush or roller application, so a portion of thinner is generally required.

High-Pressure Airless Spraying

High-pressure airless spraying typically uses compressed air as the power source to drive a high-pressure pump, which draws in the coating and pressurizes it to 10–25 MPa. The coating is then delivered through a high-pressure hose and spray gun, finally ejected through an olive-shaped nozzle orifice. As the coating leaves the nozzle, it atomizes into fine particles, spraying onto the surface to form a uniform film.

Note: Theoretical usage is calculated based on parameters. Actual usage may vary significantly depending on the user's application method, the shape of the sprayed workpiece, surface treatment process, film thickness, etc.

Recoat Interval: Recoat interval: 1 hour for recoating with the same product, 2–8 hours for other coatings. Avoid moisture before the coating is fully dry.

Application Conditions: Environmental conditions: 0°C to 50°C, relative humidity during application less than 85%, and no dust in the air.

Preparation: Stir the contents of the bucket thoroughly from the bottom to ensure uniformity before use.
