Epoxy Asphalt Anti-Corrosion Paint

Composition: A two-component epoxy asphalt coating composed of epoxy resin, coal tar pitch, pigments, additives, solvents, etc.

Applications:

Suitable for use as an external anti-corrosion coating and pipeline joint anti-corrosion coating for petroleum transmission pipelines, water pipelines, as well as cooling water pipelines in power plants and industrial enterprises. It can also serve as an internal rust prevention coating for cooling water pipelines in power plants or industrial enterprises.

Recommended Coating Layers: External pipeline wall or pipeline joint anti-corrosion lining (1) Two layers of fabric and three layers of paint lining (standard anti-corrosion structure), with two layers of glass fabric wrapped between coating layers

Coating Sequence: Primer - Topcoat - Glass Fabric - Topcoat - Glass Fabric - Topcoat, total thickness reaching 500-800 μm. 2. Internal pipeline wall anti-corrosion coating surface treatment: For steel with scale, coating thickness should reach 310 μm or more. Steel: Sandblasting to Sa2.5 grade or manual derusting to St3 grade. Substrate temperature for scale-free steel: Sandblasting to Sa2.5 grade; or pneumatic or electric elastic grinding wheel打磨 to St3. Steel coated with shop primer: Areas with film damage, rust, or whitening must undergo secondary derusting,打磨 to St3. Substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point.

Excellent electrical insulation, water penetration resistance, microbial erosion resistance, stray current resistance, heat resistance, resistance to sudden temperature changes, and other superior properties. The coating can be used within a temperature range of -4°C to 150°C. Mainly used for external anti-corrosion of buried or underwater oil, gas, water, and thermal pipelines, and also suitable for anti-corrosion of various steel structures, docks, ships, sluices, gas storage tanks, refinery and chemical plant equipment, as well as anti-leakage for sewage pools, roof waterproofing layers, and basement concrete layers.
