Chlorinated Rubber Anti-Corrosion Primer

Composition: Composed of chlorinated rubber, high-performance anti-rust pigments, plasticizers, additives, and solvents.

Main Features:

▲ Chlorinated rubber is a chemically inert resin with excellent film-forming properties. It has low permeability to water vapor and oxygen, making chlorinated rubber coatings resistant to moisture, acids, alkalis, seawater, and other corrosive elements in the atmosphere.

▲ Low permeability of water vapor and oxygen through the film, providing excellent water resistance and good anti-corrosion properties.

▲ Fast drying, several times faster than conventional paints.

▲ Excellent low-temperature application performance, can be applied in environments ranging from -20°C to 50°C.

▲ The film adheres well to steel and exhibits excellent intercoat adhesion.

Applications: Suitable for anti-corrosion protection of steel structures such as ships, offshore facilities, chemical equipment, external walls of pipelines, storage tanks, etc.

Appearance: Gray, silver-white, iron red, brown-gray, and other colors.

Application Reference: Dry film thickness 80μm.

Theoretical Consumption: 380g/m2.

Flash Point: 31°C.

Application Conditions: Substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point, relative humidity not exceeding 85%.

Application Methods: Spraying, brushing, rolling, air spraying. Thinner: Chlorinated rubber paint thinner, dilution ratio 0-20% (by paint weight). Nozzle diameter: 2.0-3.0mm. Air pressure: 0.3-0.4MPa (approx. 3-4kg/cm2). Brushing/rolling one coat may not achieve the recommended dry film thickness.

Thinner: Special thinner for chlorinated rubber paint, diluted up to 10% (by paint weight). Cleaning agent: Chlorinated rubber paint thinner.

Packaging Specification: 20kg/drum.

Shelf Life: 12 months when stored sealed in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place.
