Glass Flake Anti-Corrosion Primer

Composition: A two-component coating composed of modified resin, epoxy vinyl ester resin, glass flakes, pigments, additives, and curing agents.

Properties: Excellent water and chemical resistance, strong adhesion, tough and wear-resistant, high mechanical strength, good shock resistance, and long-term corrosion protection.

Applications: Ships, marine engineering, and other steel structures and concrete requiring long-term corrosion protection.

Mixing Ratio: Component A (paint) : Component B (curing agent) = 7:1

Drying Time: Surface dry 2 h, hard dry 24 h at 25°C

Recoat Interval: 24 h at 25°C

Compatible Primers: Epoxy zinc-rich primer, epoxy mica iron oxide anti-rust primer, or direct application on substrates meeting quality requirements.

Compatible Topcoats: Glass flake topcoat, epoxy topcoat, chlorinated rubber topcoat, chlorosulfonated polyethylene topcoat, highly chlorinated polyethylene topcoat, polyurethane topcoat, acrylic topcoat, alkyd topcoat.

Application Methods: Airless spray, brush, roller

Thinner & Dosage: Special thinner, <5%

Packaging: Component A 28 kg/drum, Component B 4 kg/drum

Precautions: Curing reaction slows down when the application environment is below 10°C.
